Bolt-Thru Swing Bar Casket Handles, 1x1-3/8 Oval

Description

Swing Bar Brackets for Casket Handles

The first thing you will notice when you receive these parts is that the steel is higher quality and heavier gage than many similar brackets made by others. This type of arm is a bolt-through design. The bracket is secured to the side of the casket with a 1-1/8 inch #10 bolt through the casket wall with a #10-24 thread for a nut & washer on the inside. The arm hinges on a heavy-duty rivet. The whole assembly is heavier and more secure than the adapter style arms.

These brackets are designed to secure to an 1-inch by 1-3/8-inch oval dowel casket handle. Notice, these brackets will fit Casket Builder Supply oval wooden dowel handles.  This style of swing bar casket handle is designed to be covered with a decorative lug (a.k.a. a shield). We offer a variety of wooden lugs for multiple handle configurations. Add matching end caps to give your project a finished look.

These parts are stamped from steel in Chicago, Illinois and powder coated in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This swing arm is the real vintage. We've partnered with General Machinery & Mfg. Co. of Chicago to revive these unique vintage parts--some of which have not been produced since the 1940s. Learn more about these vintage parts by reading about our suppliers.
