This decorative casket handle is composed of a Magic Lamp lug with two swing arms, bar and tips. Also known as a steel extension handle or an EAR. Typically use 8 per casket with 3 on each long side and 1 on each short side.

This particular configuration was made from steel stamped in Chicago and then plated or painted by Sterling Casket Hardware in Virginia.

The first thing you will notice when you receive these parts is that the steel is higher quality and heavier gage than many similar brackets made by others.
